Hi Sharon,

We had our shutters fitted yesterday and just wanted to drop you a line to say a huge thank you and to say that we are very happy and pleased. The whole process has been pretty seamless and the end result is brilliant!

They look so amazing and much better than I had anticipated and also thanks for pushing the order for us. We can sleep in our bedrooms as opposed to all sleeping in one room with some make do curtains!

The guys that came to do the fit yesterday were also a credit to the company. They worked through until the job was done and just got on with it with no fuss. They also tidied up as they went along which was fantastic. Unfortunately I had gone out and they were gone when I got back so didn't get the chance to thank them personally.

I am just so pleased so thank you to everyone really - a very very happy customer!

Dear Sirs,

Just a quick note to say how impressed we were both with your service and the new shutters you fitted last week.

The shutters were supplied exactly within the timeframe specified by your sales consultant when he visited to measure up and your fitter was here and gone again within three hours with the minimum of fuss and mess. The new shutters help to create a nice effect with the light and have really opened up the room. Everyone who has seen them since seems to be really impressed also.

We would not hesitate to recommend your services to friends and neighbours.

Dear Chris/Sharon

Im just letting you know that our original order for plantation shutters that went wrong with Hillary's Blinds is now the subject of Extra Customer Care. They have told me that the factory misread the measurements (??) and that they can do the order after all ( !) and to make up for the delay they are airfreighting the order in - ETA 3/4 weeks.

I am very surprised I can tell you- but its a result for us, and as they have made an effort we will stick with them. I just hope their fitting isn't like as shown on Watchdog.

However, I'd just like to say thank you for being so helpful, and that if we had been met with total indifference as a result of my complaint to them and they had they not produced this response, we'd be ordering with you. Of course if anything else goes wrong.... but at least you don't have a 2 - 2 1/2 hour drive to get to us - so possibly good news for you.

Anyway thank you very much once more for your time and attention. Its good to know there are still people out there who take time out for (potential) customers.

Dear All

I would just like to say how pleased my husband and I are with our new shutters. Our house is Victorian with a very small front garden and in order to get privacy we had our blinds or curtains closed most of the time, having these new shutters allows us the privacy but at the same time lets in lots of light.

The room looks so much bigger and brighter.

The quality of the finish is excellent and we have received a very professional service from the moment the rep came round to give us a quote to the installation of the shutters.

I wanted to just thank you so much, for an amazing service and also great shutters. I would have no hesitation in recommending you to ANYONE.

From the moment your representative came to my house to give me a quote, your rep wasn't pushy, he was knowledgeable and gave great advice. I was then left to make my own mind up with no pushy sales man. I did ask other companies for a quote and found them not as helpful and rather pushy. Once I had made the decision, I placed my order. Your customer service team are equally as outstanding and extremely helpful and friendly, and like everyone I have dealt with so far from Long Island a pleasure to deal with. My shutters came within 7 weeks, and the gentlemen who fitted them, was also charming and cleaned up after himself and I hardly knew he was there.

The finished result is simply stunning, I only have a small house and its made the place. I would just like to thank you so much for all the service from start to finish. You can be sure that when i move - my next house will have Long Island Shutters.
